Presented is an antique, Georgian pair of English sterling silver sugar tongs made by William Wither of London in 1809. This pair of early 19th century tongs are done in a classic form and have never been monogrammed.

The inside of the arms are marked with the lion passant for sterling silver, a duty mark of King George III's head, a date letter o for the year 1809 and a maker's mark for William Wither.

This piece is in excellent condition for its age. There are no dents, no splits and no repairs.
