Presented is a fine Georgian English sterling silver serving spoon. This spoon dates to 1809. The spoon features a beautifully hand-chased bowl, with scalloped edges and designs of fruit and leaves in the center. The bowl of the spoon has a light gold wash. The handle of the spoon has an attractive floral design. We do not know the maker of this piece, however it is very well-constructed. This is a beautiful piece of English silver work, and would be an asset to any table setting or collection.

This piece is hallmarked on the stem with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head crowned for the city of London, the date letter O for 1809, and the King George III head duty mark.

This piece is in excellent overall condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

This piece is approximately 8 1/2 inches long.

This piece weighs 60.8 grams or 2.1 ounces.
