Presented is a great English Georgian sterling silver platter, stuffing, or serving spoon. This piece dates to 1805 and was made by Thomas Barker. The spoon is done in a classic Fiddle pattern, with shoulders above the bowl and a distinctive downward turn to the end of the handle. The terminal of the handle is monogrammed with JMTC in elegant script.

This piece is hallmarked on the underside of the handle with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head crowned for the city of London, the date letter K for 1805, King George III's head duty mark, and the maker's mark for Thomas Barker.

This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no cracks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
