Antique 1800s Rare Tiffany & Co 13pc Sterling Silver Ice Cream Server 12 Spoons

Presented is a fabulous Tiffany & Co sterling silver ice cream set, consisting of an ice cream server and 12 ice cream spoons. This set dates to circa 1873-1891. The handles are beautifully hand engraved with eye-catching bright cut designs against a matte finish background. The bowls of the ice cream spoons have an interesting pointed oval shape. The blade of the server is engraved with a delicate vine and leaf design, like ivy or grape leaves. Each handle has a monogram of AAF in elegant script.

The set is in great overall condition. The details of the designs are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

The stem of each piece is stamped with the Tiffany & Co. maker's mark, sterling and the initial 'M' for the company director between 1873-1891, Edward Moore.

The server is about 10 5/8 inches long. Each of the spoons is about 5 7/8 inches long.

The total weight for the set is 431 grams or 15.2 regular ounces.
