Antique 1800s Beautiful 10k Gold Pietra Dura Renaissance Revival Pin Brooch

Presented is a beautiful 10 karat gold and pietra dura inlay pin or brooch. This piece dates to the mid to late 1800s and is done in a lovely Renaissance Revival style. The brooch features detailed applied wirework and beadwork, in yellow gold with rose gold highlights. The center of the brooch has a pietra dura design of a blue flower with smaller white flowers and green leaves, against a black stone background, all very intricate and well done. The pin has an old C style clasp, with a loop in the back for a lapel watch or drop.

This piece is in great condition. The inlaid stonework is in great shape, with no losses. The clasp functions well and closes securely. There are no breaks and no repairs.

This piece is not stamped or hallmarked but we have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 10 karat gold.
