Presented is an antique, Irish sterling silver platter, stuffing or long serving spoon made by John Power of Dublin in 1793. This Georgian piece is done in a classic form and the front of the handle has a monogram of the initials TS or FS.
This piece is marked with the Hibernia mark for sterling silver purity, the crowned harp for Dublin, a date letter W for the year 1793 and a maker's mark for John Power.
This piece is in great overall condition, especially considering age. There is some very slight denting to the bowl, but no other flaws.
