Presented is an elegant portrait brooch, bezel set in 14 karat gold with a decorative border and seed pearls. This piece dates between 1880-1910. The portrait is painted on a natural material typical of the time period, and is very lovely and detailed. The pearls are natural, as cultured pearls were not invented at that time, and they have a great lustre. This is a very beautiful and classy piece, of American manufacturer.

This piece has been tested and is guaranteed 14 karat gold purity. There are no marks, as is typical of the time period for American pieces.

The brooch is in excellent condition. All the pearls are original. The glass and the portrait are both in great shape. The c-clasp closes well and the pin's hinge moves freely. There are no chips, no breaks, no bends, and no repairs.
