Presented is a very nice pearl 14K gold pin in the form of a basket of flowers. The basket is made of crossed wires with twisted gold wire trim. The pearls are half drilled and glue mounted on gold posts for a very secure setting. The pearls are just amazing. They are really fabulous, with Mikimoto-like quality.
The pin is stamped on the reverse with K14 for 14K gold. Certainly made in Japan in the 1960s to the 1980s. We have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14K.
The pin is in excellent condition. The pearls are in great condition. There are none missing. The basket is in great shape and very well made, so there is little chance of breaking. There are no breaks, no cracks, no splits, no dents, no chips and no repairs.
The pin measures approximately 1 7/8 inches tall.
The pin weighs 8.8 grams.
