Presented is a lovely set of 9 porcelain luncheon plates from Cauldon. This pattern, likely produced in the 1910s-1920s, displays delicate pink flowers with gilded decorations and cobalt blue bands around the center and the rim. The edge has an elegant scalloped edge.
The underside of each piece is marked with the maker's mark for Cauldon and a pattern number N3900.
This set is in great overall condition. The decorations are mostly well-defined. All the plates in the set have some wear to the gilded design just outside the cobalt ring. This wear is likely from stacking the plates and the foot rims rubbing on the gilding.
There are no chips, no cracks, no crazing, no breaks, and no repairs.
