Presented is a pretty set of 9 German porcelain plates made by KPM. Each plate is decorated with a colorful cluster of flowers at the center. No two plates are the same. All of the painting is beautifully executed. The rims are nicely gilded.
Each plate is marked on the underside with the eagle maker’s mark for Koenigliche Porzellan Manufactur. Two plates are also marked with the KPM scepter mark. All of the marks are stamped and under the glaze.
One plate has a small chip to the rim. Otherwise, the condition is excellent. There is some light wear to the gilding commensurate with age and use, but this is quite minor. There are no chips, no cracks, no crazing, no breaks, and no repairs.
The plates measure 9 1/8 inches in diameter. Weight: 9 lbs 14 oz (4478 grams)
