Presented is a great set of 9 American coin silver forks made by Gurnee & Company of New York between 1825 to 1840. The forks are a very good weight for their size. Each fork is in a traditional Fiddle Thread pattern and each one has a monogram of the name CB Cooley on the back.
Each is marked Gurnee on the back, for Benjamin Gurnee of New York. This set has been tested and is guaranteed to be coin silver.
This set is in fabulous condition. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.
Each fork measures 6 7/8 inches long.
The combined weight of the set is 457.2 grams or 16.1 ounces.
