Presented is a nice set of 8 sterling silver dinner forks by Wallace Silversmiths. The forks are done in the desirable old Violet pattern which was first produced in 1904. Five of the forks are monogrammed with a W, two forks are monogrammed with an L, and one fork is monogrammed with an S.
The forks are hallmarked on the reverse with the maker’s mark for Wallace Silversmiths and Sterling. Two of the forks are marked Shreve & Co for the retailer.
The condition is excellent. Only minor wear commensurate with age and light use. There are no dents,no breaks, and no repairs.
