Presented is an antique set of 8 sterling silver coffee or tea spoons made by Charles Kennard of Boston between 1860 and 1875. This set is in a classical Shell pattern. The front of each handle has a monogram of the initials SEC.
The back of each spoon is marked Chas. W. Kennard and sterling.
This set is in excellent overall condition and the designs are still crisp. There is slight wear to the bowls commensurate with age and use but there are no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.
Each spoon measures 4 5/8 inches long and the combined weight of the set is 101.8 grams or 3.6 ounces.
