Presented is an antique set of 7 serving spoons of heavy weight made by Robert & William Wilson of Philadelphia during the 1830s. Approximately 170 to 180 years old. Each spoon is in a classic Fiddle pattern. 5 of the spoons have an AE monogram in sinuous script and 2 have a monogram of the letter H in a Gothic script.
The back of each spoon is marked R&W Wilson Philadelphia. These spoons have been tested and are guaranteed to be coin silver, 900 purity silver.
This set is in fabulous overall condition for its age. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.
Each spoon measures 8 3/4 inches long and the combined weight of the set is 418.3 grams or 14.7 ounces.
