Presented is a vintage set of 6 sterling silver dessert or pastry or salad forks made by the Watson Company for retail by A. Stowell & Company. This set is in the King Philip pattern, which was patented in 1904. Each pointed handle has a threaded edge. The two forks with the less decorative tines have a monogram of the initials EBP and the other four bear the initials EPN.
Four of the forks have one design on the tines, while the other two forks have a different design.
This is clear in our photographs.
The back of each piece is marked with the Watson Company hallmark, sterling and A. Stowell & Co.
This set is in excellent condition. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.
Each fork measures 6 inches long and the combined weight of the set is 177 grams or 6.3 ounces.
