Presented is a set of six antique John Maddock and Sons Royal Vitreous cereal or soup bowls. These bowls are done in the Canton pattern. There are blue trees with flowers, a bridge, Japanese houses, and a man in a boat. There is gold detail to the edge of the bowls and a flower border with vines and leaves. These bowls were made in the late 1890's- early 1900's.
The bowls are marked John Maddock and Sons, England, and Royal Vitreous.
The bowls are in good condition for their age. There is some crazing to the bowls, but they are still usable. Otherwise, there are no repairs and no problems.
