Presented is a handsome set of 6 Tiffany & Co silver-plated dinner knives with the original carbon steel blades. This set in in the Regent pattern, which was patented in 1884. This pattern displays fancy leaves and scrolls along both sides of the handle. One side of each knife handle has been monogrammed, “HLR”, in a flowing script.
The junction of each knife is marked Tiffany & Co. The Blades are marked England on one side and the other with “VR Joseph Rogers and sons/ Cutlers to her majesty”.
This set is in good overall condition, especially considering age. The silver-plating is in great shape, with only minor losses around some of the monograms and high points of the handles. There are no breaks, no splits, and no repairs.
