Presented is a great set of 6 coin silver coffee or demitasse spoons from 1790 to 1810. This set is in a fiddle pattern with a slightly pointed end. Each handles displays a great Eagle crest in an older style, with spread wings and an open beak.
This set is tested and guaranteed coin silver.
The reverse of each piece is marked with “Williamson”, almost certainly for Samuel Williamson of Philadelphia.
This set is in good overall condition. One of the spoons has a split in the bowl near the handle. Another has a few dents in the bowl as well as a small split in the same location as the former split. Two others have repairs to the bowl.
