Presented is a fabulous set of 6 Gorham sterling silver demitasse spoons. These spoons are made in the Corinthian pattern, which began production in 1872. This is an elegant pattern featuring classical acanthus leaf and scroll decoration, as on a Corinthian column. The lower halves of the spoons have a rich gold wash. Each spoon has a monogram of P on the front of the handle.
This set is in great condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each spoon is stamped with the Gorham maker's mark as well as sterling.
Each spoon is about 4 1/4 inches long.
The total weight for the set is 61.6 grams or 2.2 regular ounces.
