Presented is a set of 6 Georgian sterling silver demitasse spoons by Peter, Ann and William Bateman. The spoons are in the very nice Old English pattern. The spoons were made in London in 1803. The front of the handles are monogrammed with the initials C over TB.
The spoons are marked on the underside with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head crowned for London, the duty mark of George III's head, the date letter H for 1803 and the maker's mark PB over AB over WB for Peter Bateman, Ann Bateman and William Bateman.
The condition is good. There are no breaks, no cracks, no splits, no dents, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The spoons measure approximately 5 inches long.
The weight is 81.8 grams.
