6 Antique Sterling Silver Gorham Hindostance 1878 Teaspoons

Presented is a nice set of 6 sterling silver teaspoons by Gorham Manufacturing Company. The spoons are done in the Hindostance pattern which was first produced in 1878. The handles are decorated with elegant arabesque and Moorish inspired designs. The original owner was kind enough to have the spoons monogrammed on the reverse so the monogram will not be visible when the spoons are being used. The spoons are monogrammed on the back of the handle with GAB in an elegant script.
The spoons are hallmarked on the reverse with Gorham’s old company hallmarks, Sterling, and Pat. 78.
The condition is excellent. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The spoons are 5 5/8 inches long.
The weight is 114.8 grams or 4 ounces.
