Presented is an old set of 6 sterling silver fruit knives made during the late 1800s or early 1900s by Dominick & Haff. This set is in the Mazarin pattern, which was patented in 1892. Each handle has a gadrooned edge and swirl designs surrounding a monogram of the initials JCB. This is an old set, as the blades are silver plated carbon steel.
The handles of each knife is marked with the Dominick & Haff hallmark, sterling and patent.
This set is in excellent condition for its age. There is minor surface wear to the handles a couple of very tiny dings. The blades have some wear to the edges. There are no major damages and no repairs.
Each knife measures 7 3/8 inches long.
