Presented is a nice set of 6 German silver teaspoons made by the Berlin silversmith, Gebruder Petersfeldt. The spoons are done in a pretty pattern with garlands of roses surrounding the monogram ER. These spoons are beautifully struck and finished and were undoubtedly made in the 1920s or 1930s.
The spoons are hallmarked on the reverse with the 800, crescent moon and crown for German 800 purity silver, a maker’s mark for Gebruder Petersfeldt, and Schaaff for the retailer.
The condition is excellent. The spoons have some surface wear commensurate with age and light use, but this is very minor. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The spoons are 5 3/8 inches long.
