Presented is a wonderful old and heavy set of 5 sterling silver forks made by Whiting Manufacturing Company. The forks are done in the Armor pattern which was first produced in 1871. These forks are old, original production. The ends of the handles are engraved with ‘Peterson’ in an elegant script.
The forks are marked on the reverse with the maker’s mark for Whiting, Sterling, and Pat. App’d. For.
The forks are in great condition overall. They have some surface wear commensurate with age and light use, but this is minor. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
