Presented is an antique set of 5 American coin silver teaspoons made or retailed by William W. Hannah of Albany, NY during the 1840s-50s. The handles are in a classic 19th century pattern, with an oval border. Three of the spoons are monogrammed with initials MCL and the other two bear the name M. Kinstry.
The two spoons with the M. Kinstry monogram are marked on the back WW Hannah.
This set is in excellent condition for its age. There is practically no wear to the raised designs and the monograms are crisp. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The spoons measure 6 and 6 1/8 inches long and the combined weight of the set is 151 grams or 5.3 ounces.
