Presented in this sale are four interesting and wearable Mexican silver pins. Two are round, with a cactus design on abalone ground on one, and hand-engraved geometric pottery design on turquoise colored chip ground on the other. Both have a built- in loop on back, so they can be also worn as a pendant. The other two pins are designed as a fish form and as a rooster form. Both are inlaid with abalone and both have hand-engraved details. All the pins are lively, with a lot of style.
They are all marked on the back with 925 and/or Sterling and Mexico. Some also have maker's marks. All are in excellent condition, with normal signs of wear. The abalone on the fish does have some small cracks, but this may very well be how it was originally made, and is not noticeable. Otherwise, there are no cracks, no dents, no repairs and no problems at all.

SIZE: The pin with the geometric design is about11/2 inches in diameter. The round cactus pin is about 1 3/8 inches in diameter. The rooster is about 1 1/2 inches long and the fish is about 2 inches long.
