Presented is a set of 4 Gorham sterling silver teaspoons. These spoons are made in the Medallion pattern, which was patented in 1864. As the name suggests, this pattern features bold designs of classical Greco-Roman profiles in medallions on the handles. The spoons have the profile of a helmeted warrior. The spoons are monogrammed EMJ in flowing script on the back of the handle.
These spoons are in very good condition, just minor surface wear. The medallion designs are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each piece is stamped with the Gorham maker's mark as well as sterling.
The spoons are 6 inches long.
