Presented is a fine set of 4 blue decorated and glazed Staffordshire English earthenware dinner plates done in the Florentine Villas pattern. The plates were made in the 1830s to 1860s.
The plates are marked on the back with the name of the pattern, Florentine Villas, and Jacksons Warranted.
Two of the plates each have a single minor chip. One of the plates has a crack through the upper left part of the plate as seen in the photographs. Another plate has a less noticeable crack around the two o'clock position and another shows some wear on the rim. Otherwise there are no other problems.
