Presented is a vintage, 3 piece sterling silver meat or roast carving set made by Frank M. Whiting around the mid 20th century. This set is done in the Georgian Shell pattern, which was patented in 1948. Each handle has shell accents and has never been monogrammed.
This set includes: 1 Sharpener: 13 1/4 inches. 1 Knife: 14 5/8 inches. 1 Fork: 11 3/4 inches.
Each piece is marked for Frank M. Whiting and sterling silver purity. The handles are sterling silver. The tines are marked stainless and the blade is marked Case XX chromium.
This set is in great condition, especially for its age. There is minor surface wear, but no major damages and no repairs.
