35pc Superb International Sterling Silver Royal Danish Flatware Silverware Set

Presented is a wonderful International sterling silver 35 piece flatware set. This set is made in the elegant Royal Danish pattern, which began production in 1939. This pattern is modeled after the work of Danish Modernists like Georg Jensen, and is visually very similar to Jensen's Acorn pattern in particular. The knives have stainless steel blades in the Modern form.

The set consists of:

• 6 knives-- 9 inches long.
• 6 forks-- 7 1/8 inches long.
• 6 salad forks-- 6 3/8 inches long.
• 6 teaspoons-- 6 inches long.
• 4 round soup spoons-- 5 7/8 inches long.
• 3 butter knives-- 6 inches long.
• 1 sugar/jelly serving spoon-- 6 inches long.
• 1 gravy ladle-- 6 1/2 inches long.

2 serving/table spoons-- 8 1/2 inches long.

Each piece is marked with the International Silver Co maker's mark, sterling, U.S.A. and the name of the pattern, Royal Danish.

The weighable silver weight of the set, not including the knives due to their stainless steel blades, is 1329 grams or 46.9 regular ounces. There is more than this weight in silver for the set, considering the sterling handles of the knives.
