Presented is an antique set of 3 platinum topped, 14 karat yellow gold and abalone shell shirt studs made in America during the first quarter of the 1900s. The long portions are 14 karat yellow gold and the tops are plated with platinum and bezel set with natural abalone or mother of pearl shells.
Each stud is marked for 14 karat gold purity.
This set is in excellent overall condition.
The decorative square tops measure 1/4 by 1/4 of an inch and the yellow gold portions measure 1 1/8 inches long.
