Presented is a fine set of sterling silver salad servers made by Gorham Manufacturing Company. The salad set is done in the Rondo pattern which was first produced in 1951. These could of course be used individually as large serving pieces.
The servers are marked on the reverse with Gorham, Sterling, and Rondo.
The condition is excellent. The servers have some surface wear commensurate with light use, but this is quite minor. There are no dents, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, and no repairs.
The salad serving spoon is 8 7/8 inches long.
The salad serving fork is 8 3/4 inches long.
The combined weight of the pair is 196.1 grams or 6.9 ounces.
