Presented is a lovely Czech porcelain creamer and covered sugar bowl, by Epiag. These pieces date to around the 1930s. The pieces are made in the pattern numbered 9561. This pattern features colorful floral swags beneath intricate scrollwork designs, against a white ground. The sugar and creamer have gilt rims, with gilding on the handles and around the shoulders as well.
Each piece is marked Epiag, Czechoslovakia, and the pattern number 9561. These pieces are in great overall condition. There is some minor wear to the gilding on the handle of the sugar bowl, but nothing excessive. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. The creamer stands about 3 ½ inches tall. The sugar bowl measures about 6 ½ inches from handle to handle and stands about 4 inches tall.-jm
