24 International Berkeley Colonial Sterling Silver Knives in Fitted Box
Presented is a fine set of 24 sterling silver knives made by the International Silver Company. The knives are done in the elegant Berkeley pattern also known as Colonial which was first produced in 1915. The set includes 12 luncheon knives and 12 dinner knives. The knives all have sterling silver handles and the old silver plated carbon steel blades. The set comes in a handsome fitted oak box.
The knives are in good overall condition. All 24 of the knives have had a monogram removal on one side of the handle. The removal was fairly well done and is not very noticeable. Three of the luncheon knives have dents on the handles, and the blades have a little bit of wear to the silver plating on the high points, but otherwise the condition is excellent. There are no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, and no repairs.
The luncheon knives are 9 1/8 inches long.
The dinner knives are 9 3/4 inches long.
