Presented are two fine Wedgwood bone china footed cups and saucers in Runnymede Blue W4472 pattern.
Runymede in the pattern's name refers to the location where king John signed the Magna Carta and the clamshell design is an example of Josiah Wedgwood's fascination with mollusk shells.
These cups and saucers are decorated with a lovely dark blue band with pink shells and a floral center. Please scroll down to view the photographs below.
These cups and saucers are marked Wedgwood Bone China.
They were made in England and are marked as such.
This pattern was manufactured from 1972-1998.
It is now discontinued.
These cups and saucers are in excellent condition.
