Presented is a wonderful quality pair of sterling silver candlestick holders made by the International Silver Company around the 1940s. This set is done in the Royal Danish pattern, and the base of each candlestick has a neat acorn and leaf design. Each candlestick has an old monogram of the letter S done in an interesting block letter style. The monogram can easily just be turned to the back side, so you can't see it. The candlesticks are weighted and are very sturdy.
The underside of each is marked for International, Royal Danish pattern and sterling silver purity.
This pair is in excellent overall condition, with only minor surface wear commensurate with age and use.
