2 Art Nouveau Reed Barton Sterling Silver Tablespoons Serving Spoons Cinq Fleurs
Presented is a fabulous pair of Reed & Barton sterling silver tablespoons or serving spoons. These spoons are done in the lovely Les Cinq Fleurs pattern, which began production in 1900. As the name suggests, this pattern features a floral motif on the front and back of the handle and on the top of the bowl. The spoons are well made, with a nice feeling of weight in the hand. Each spoon is monogrammed EFB in elegant script on the handle.
The spoons are in great condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each spoon is stamped with the Reed & Barton maker's mark as well as sterling and the patent date of the pattern, May 22 1900.
The spoon is about 8 1/4 inches long.
The total weight for the pair is 145 grams or 5.1 regular ounces.
