2 Antique Victorian Thomae Sterling Silver Guilloche Enamel Clothes/Hair Brushes

Presented is an antique pair of sterling silver and guilloche enamel hair or clothes brushes made by made by The Thomae Company of Attleboro, Massachusetts during the 1920s. This 19th century, Victorian style set is done in a beautiful pattern. Each sterling silver top is beautifully decorated with a pretty hue of blue enamel over machine turned patterns, bowls and flowers.
The sides are marked for Thomae and sterling silver purity.
This set is in very good overall condition. There are some small chips to the enamel on the larger brush and there is one chip to the smaller brush at one end. There is some very minor denting along the sides, but there are no major damages and no repairs.
Lengths: 5 1/2 & 7 inches.
Weight: 282 grams or 10 regular ounces. There is approximately 4 to 5 ounces in solid sterling silver weight.
