2 Antique c1900 Art Nouveau Hibiscus Flower Whiting Sterling Silver Bowls
Presented is an antique pair of Art Nouveau, sterling silver bowls or dishes made by Whiting during the late 19th century or very early 20th century. This piece was made between 1890 and 1910. Each large, flared rim is beautifully hand chased with detailed flowers and leaves. We believe the flowers to be hibiscuses. The center of each bowl has a lightly engraved monogram of the initials JAS.
The underside of each dish is marked for Whiting, sterling and pattern number 6202.
This pair is in excellent condition and the designs are crisp.. There are no damages or repairs.
Each bowl measures 5 by 7 inches and is 1 1/4 inches tall.
