Regular price $240.00 $0.00 Unit price per

Presented is an antique pair of Scottish, sterling silver gravy or sauce ladles made by George McHattie of Edinburgh in 1822. This early 19th century, Georgian pair is done in a classic Fiddle pattern and the front of each handle has an old, original monogram of the initials JPO.

The backs are marked with the 3 tower mark for the city of Edinburgh, the thistle for sterling silver, a duty mark of the king's head, a date letter q for the year 1822 and a maker's mark for George McHattie.

This set is in great overall condition considering its age. There is minor surface wear and one bowl has a small ding, but there are no other flaws and no repairs.

Length: 6 1/2 inches.

Weight: 45 grams.
