Presented is a great pair of American coin silver tablespoons or serving spoons made by Nehemiah Dodge of Providence, Rhode Island. Dodge was active from around 1790 to 1824. The spoons have a coffin end design with a monogram of ES on the end of the handle.
The spoons are marked on the reverse with N. Dodge for the maker.
The condition is excellent. The bowls are highly polished, so perhaps some scratches or dents were removed. Otherwise there are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no monogram removals.
