1950s 3p Worden-Munnis Co Sterling Dublin Pat Tea Set
Regular price
$1,510.00
Presented is a very fine quality, 3 piece sterling silver tea set made by the Worden-Munnis Company during the 1940s or 50s. Worden-Munnis was a high-end silver manufacturing hailing from Boston from 1940 until 1964 when it was taken over by Old Newbury Crafters. This set is in the Dublin Pattern by Worden-Munnis. This set is done in a fabulous, fluted and paneled form. The pieces are simple yet elegant in design. The teapot has a nicely curved, black wooden handle. The pieces in this set have been polished to a high finish and each piece has a spotless interior and is ready for use. I believe the highly polished finish is original. All pieces are mint clean.
This set includes:
1 Teapot: 6 3/4 inches from handle to spout and 9 1/8 inches tall.
1 Creamer: 4 7/8 inches from handle to spout and 4 1/4 inches tall.
1 Sugar Bowl: 5 3/8 inches from handle to handle and 3 1/4 inches tall.
The underside of each piece is marked with the Worden-Munnis lyre hallmark, sterling and Dublin pattern. This set is in fabulous overall condition. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The combined weight of the set is 872 grams or 30.7 ounces.
