Presented is a fantastic Gorham sterling silver low compote or footed dish. This piece is dated 1925. The bowl is beautifully decorated with very intricate, classical designs, featuring a repeated Cupid or putti motif surrounded by scrollwork, garlands, and flowers. The center of the dish has a monogram of K van B.
This piece is stamped with the mark for Gorham, sterling, and the date mark for 1925.
This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no dents, no cracks, no breaks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The bowl measures about 11 ½ inches in diameter and stands about 1 ¼ inches tall.
