Presented is a fine quality English teapot by Wedgwood. There are nice classical decorations around the entire pot. This black basalt piece was made in the early 1900s, perhaps 1924 as indicated by the numbers on the underside, please see photos. The color of the teapot is closer to the third through eighth photograph. The interior is glazed. It is quite usable.
The piece is fully hallmarked on the underside.
The teapot measures 8 3/8 inches from spout to handle. 4 5/8 inches to the top of the finial. And 5 1/2 inches maximum diameter.
There are no chips, no cracks and no repairs. There is some variability of the color. -RS
