Presented is an antique, porcelain or fine china cabinet display plate made by Royal Doulton of England exclusively for retail by Tiffany & Company during the early 1900s. The rim of the plate as well as the center have decorative, gold borders. The center of the plate is finely hand painted with a realistic pond or lake scene featuring a Short Headed Salmon.
The underside of the plate bears the Royal Doulton hallmark used during the 1920s. There is a hallmark for Tiffany & Co. The center of the plate is signed J. Birbeck sen for Joseph Birbeck senior.
This piece is in excellent condition. There is minimal surface wear, and no damages or repairs.
