1920s-1950s Arts & Crafts A and C-Style Garnet 14k Gold Ring Size 5.75

Presented is a neat garnet 14K gold ring. The ring is very likely an Arts & Crafts ring, made between the 1920s-1950s. The oval cabochon garnet is set diagonally in the ring, and very securely bezel set. The interior of the band shows a braided form. This means the ring was likely formed by braiding the band, and then artistically modifying the outside. An unusual, organic ring, sure to be an eye-catcher!

The ring is marked 14K on the inside of the band. We have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14K gold.

The condition is excellent. There are no breaks, no cracks, no splits, no dents, no chips and no repairs.

The ring is between 5 1/2 and 5 3/4. It could be sized up or down by your local jeweler.

The weight is 7.3 grams. The garnet measures about 7.7 mm by 5.5 mm.At the narrowest the band measures around 5.3 mm. The widest part of the band is 10.5 mm. Also 7.7 mm, 8.2 mm, and 8 mm at various positions.
