Presented is a wonderful diamond and 14K gold bar pin with a thick platinum top. The bar pin has elegant machine turnings. A diamond is set in the center. The diamond is an old mine cut, approximately 4-5 points in size. This bar pin was made in America between the 1920s-1930s.
The pin is marked on the reverse with 14K for 14K gold purity and a G inside a diamond shape for the maker. We have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14K gold with a platinum top.
The condition is excellent. The diamond is securely set. The clasp is working well. There are no breaks, no cracks, no splits, no dents, no chips and no repairs.
The pin measures approximately 2 1/4 inches long and 4.8 mm wide.
