Presented is a fabulous Tiffany & Co sterling silver dish or tray, dating to 1902-1907. The dish is done in an ornate style, with lush floral, foliate, and fruit designs amidst pierced openwork around the rim. The dish stands on four paw form feet. The center has a monogram of AVS in interwoven script. The dish is a very impressive large size, guaranteed to make an impression however it is displayed or put to use.
This piece is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The underside of the piece is stamped with the Tiffany & Co. maker's mark, sterling 925-1000 and the initial 'C' for the company director between 1902-1907, Charles T. Cook.
The dish measures about 16 by 11 7/8 by 2 3/4 inches, LxWxH.
The dish weighs 1275 grams or 45 regular ounces.
