Antique c1900 American 10k Yellow Gold Smoky Quartz Rotating Fob
Regular price
$187.20
Presented is a fabulous, 10 karat yellow gold and smoky quartz fob made in America during the 1880s-1910. The large, faceted quartz stone is attached to the gold mounting on either end and rotates freely. This piece was originally made to have an intaglio engraving on one or all of the flat surfaces of the stone, but the piece is still un-engraved.
This piece has been nitric acid tested and is guaranteed to be 10 karat gold purity.
The fob is in good overall condition for its age. There is a chip to one side of the stone, where it is mounted to the gold, we have shown this in the last photograph below. There are a few very small chips around the edge some of the facets. Otherwise there are no other chips, no cracks, no breaks and no repairs.
