Presented is a handsome circa 1890s silver souvenir spoon for Venezia, Italy. This piece has great enamel decorations in the bowl and a highly decorative handle. The handle displays a well-shaped classic gondola boat and fancy decorations. The enamel shows the lion of St. Mark with blue and green enamel details.
The reverse is marked with German marks for 800 purity silver and the crescent moon and crown. This piece is in excellent condition. We found no flaws to the enamel. There are remnants of a gold wash that is mostly worn. There are no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, and no repairs.
